Justin started his beauty industry career at the Aveda Experience Center in Cherry Creek 12 years ago. While still working at Aveda he decided to obtain his esthetics license to take his Aveda training a step further. In 2002 he received his license and began at Three Cutters on Pearl. In his ninth year at Three Cutters he walks through the door as happy and inspired as his first day.
Salon Owner/Purefessional
Brad has been in the Beauty and Wellness fields for over 15 years. With Majors in Psychology, Exercise Physiology, along with a Minor in Coaching, he also holds a license in massage and esthetics. He believes wellness is a fusion of many beautiful healing modalities and Aveda is a key component in personal and global wellness.
Embodying Aveda belief number 7, Brad encourages everyone to continue learning. The journey of constant education came full circle when he joined the Aveda Institute Denver team in 2005. He now oversees and leads the education teams in the Aveda Institute Denver, Tucson and Provo.
With a desire to balance the mind, body and spirit, Brad presents a variety of Aveda classes that embrace his whole person approach in both esthetics and massage.
Scott started his career in 2003 after graduating from the Toni and Guy Academy in Colorado Springs, CO. After graduation he worked for Toni and Guy as a Technical hair color specialist and as a L’oreal color educator.
Striving for more education he left his first salon to work at an Aveda salon where he developed a passion for Aveda, their education and mission. Moving to Denver three years ago opened doors to develop his passion for this industry even more. Currently he works not only at Three Cutters as a Hair Stylist but also shares his knowledge with Future Professionals at the Aveda Institute of Denver. Scott then became an Aveda hair color Purefessional so he could share his knowledge with the entire Aveda network.
Being able to educate his guests as well as deliver great customer service is his passion and goal. Combining honest and informed decisions for his guests helps deliver an experience that will leave them wanting to come back.
Tessa has been a hairstylist for 7 years and is very passionate about Aveda. From beautiful colors to precision cuts, she takes great pride in her work. Tessa is currently working toward her certification as a Community Herbalist.
Stylist/Purefessional
Carrie graduated from the Brown Aveda Institute of Cosmetology in 2000. After a yearlong apprenticeship with Aveda Global Educator Ken Novak, she became a successful stylist at Ladies and Gentlemen Salon and Day Spa in Cleveland, OH. She not only worked behind the chair but educated within her salon.
In 2005 she auditioned and became an Aveda Purefessional. She travels nationally to teach advanced haircutting for Aveda. She has also had the opportunity to work with many leaders in the industry, including the founder of Aveda, Horst Rechelbacher, on shows, classes, and photo shoots. Carrie's commitment to ongoing education keeps her up to date with all the trends.
In 2008 she moved from Cleveland to Denver and while still working behind the chair at Three Cutters, she joined the team at the Aveda Denver Institute.
Sarah started her career with Aveda in 2007. She graduated from the Aveda Institute of Denver with an Aveda Certified Diploma. Sarah worked in the Highlands with an Aveda concept salon, VIDA, for almost three years. While at VIDA Sarah refined her technique while expanding her knowledge; taking classes from many Aveda Purefessional's such as, Hauns Korpela, Kevin Krauklis, David Gatt, Cynthia Gonzalez and more.
Sarah began focusing her experience towards education. She began educating at Aveda Institute Denver in 2010. While at the Institute Sarah became a certified cosmetology educator, teaching a wide variety of skills, thriving in haircutting and styling. Sarah continued her own education all the while and truly believes that learning never ends. In February 2012 Sarah became a haircutting and style Purefessional for Aveda, being able to travel and educate. Sarah strengths lie in cutting curly hair, men’s hair, and speciality styling.
Sarah is also passionate about the Aveda mission and vision. She believes in incorporating wellness into every beauty regimen. With her calm demeanor and extensive knowledge she is able to make you feel at ease and stylish all at the same time. She believes each experience at the salon is a chance to escape the stress of everyday life and to renew one’s sense of beauty.
Maggie's meticulous and detailed nature lead her first to a lengthy accounting career. In great contrast to the demanding structure of numbers, she discovered her unbounded creativity and skilled artistic eye. She moved on to study at the Aveda Institute Denver in pursuit of her dream of becoming an exceptional stylist. Her drive and determination obtained her the opportunity to study and style under industry icon Jon Reymen at the prestigious New York Fashion Week. Maggie's career continues to develop as an apprentice to seasoned professionals at Three Cutters on Pearl. Her creative work has been seen in local fashion shows and on stages in Denver and ranges from basic home beauty to the avant garde looks of the high fashion world. Maggie is truly passionate about her exciting career and loves making those who sit in her chair feel amazing.
Joey joined the beauty industry after working 10 years in Corporate Finance. He attended the Aveda Institute Denver and received high honors in academics upon graduating. He has been in the Cosmetology industry since January 2010 and he was previously the Salon Manager at Three Cutters. Looking for more advanced training he left Three Cutters temporarily to attend the Aveda Academy for more advanced cutting and coloring skills. Joey is currently working towards a degree in Wind Energy Technology. He is always looking to expand his knowledge in the beauty industry as well as becoming more environmentally conscious.
