Joel (he/him) started his cosmetology career in 2007 + has been in the Aveda family for years, taking numerous advanced training courses along the way. His attention to detail helps him refine his color and excel in cutting short styles + perfectly layered cuts on straight or wavy hair. A perfect day for him would be traveling to a new place or enjoying music at home. Joel considers himself a minimalist + is inspired by Tom Ford for his simple, chic style.

Ashton (she/her) started her career as a hairstylist in 2007 after graduating from the International Beauty Academy. She fell in love with Aveda when she attended the Aveda Institute Denver in 2008, kickstarting her career as a stylist, educator + salon manager. In 2014, Ashton became a certified Aveda Color Ambassador + educator. Then, in 2021, she moved into an Aveda Hair Color Purefessional role, allowing her to expand her education from in-salon to across the western territory. Ashton’s education doesn’t stop at the professional level— her goal behind the chair is to impart her knowledge + care so that guests always feel comfortable + confident.

Kelly (she/her) has been behind the chair since 2018. A proud Aveda Institute graduate with experience at London Fashion Week, she loves the instant gratification of a great haircut whether it be a fun mullet or a precise bob, as well as the magic of watching a color service come to life. Education is a passion of Kelly’s— she is constantly looking to expand her skills, refine her craft + stay inspired by new techniques + trends. She is also a self-proclaimed “certified bang/fringe enthusiast” + loves helping clients find looks that feel fresh, wearable + totally them. When she’s not in the salon, Kelly is either paddle boarding, at a concert, getting crafty making friendship bracelets, painting, or finding something to crochet. And probably cracking some jokes! Creating beautiful hair is the goal—but making people laugh + feel amazing while they’re in her chair is what Kelly loves the most.

With a career spanning since 1997, Rachael (she/her) brings a wealth of experience + a refined eye to every chair she hosts. Rachael’s journey began in Minneapolis, the heart of the Aveda movement, where she had the privilege of training under the industry’s top educators. This foundation fueled her specialty in creating seamless, natural-looking blondes + precision haircuts for both masculine + feminine styles. Rachael believes that beauty is a holistic experience— as a certified restorative yoga teacher + Reiki practitioner, she brings a sense of calmness + intentionality to her work. She is also a passionate reader + lifelong learner, currently expanding her dedication to helping others by pursuing a degree in Social Work. When she’s not at the salon or hitting the books, you’ll find Rachael wrangling her two wild yet lovable cattle dogs, Ranger + Scout.

Alex (she/her) began her career in the beauty industry in 2022 after graduating from the cosmetology program at Aveda Institute Denver. She specializes in creating effortlessly beautiful, low-maintenance looks through balayage coloring techniques + crafted layered cuts. She was born + raised in Colorado and loves skiing and listening to music while surrounded by her family + friends.

Kate (she/her) has been dedicated since 2022 to creating hair that feels as personal as it looks. Inspired by travel, art, and a love of learning, she sees every client as a unique canvas + every appointment as a chance to connect. Specializing in blondes, balayage + layered haircuts, Kate’s greatest joy comes from helping people feel like the best, most elevated version of themselves with looks that are natural, wearable, and uniquely theirs.

For Skyler (she/her), hairstyling isn’t just a career— it’s her passion. After moving from Northern California to Denver in 2023, she graduated from the Aveda Institute Denver + shortly after completed the Three Cutters apprenticeship program. Enthusiastic about helping guests feel confident, Skyler delivers personalized experiences while staying on top of latest trends. Outside of the salon, she loves the outdoors, movies + live music.
ERICA | ESTHETICIAN

Erica (she/her) attended Aveda Institute Denver’s esthiology program while working in guest services + completing her apprentice program at 3C. She is a 2018 Professional Beauty Association Beacon Award Winner + has been a spa educator for Aveda’s North American Artistic Team since 2019. She is dedicated to remaining relevant through education, pursing additional certifications in dermaplaning, microneedling, Gua Sha facial fusion + herbal poultice. As a makeup artist, she is passionate about editorial photoshoots, fashion week, wedding makeup + traveling. She has traveled abroad attending London Fashion Week + the Editorial Experience in Budapest, Hungary. Erica enjoys spending time with loved ones, is a sucker for a rom-com + always orders an iced matcha (or iced pistachio latte).
MEGHAN S | ESTHETICIAN

Meghan (she/her) is confident, genuine + funny. She makes you feel like you’re a part of her family. Meghan has been an esthetician since 2010, has been with Aveda since 2016, and has grown both as an esthetician in the spa room + leader in the industry during this time. She has mastered the art of speed waxing, while still making guests feel safe + comfortable in the treatment room. Meghan is married to Kevin, a Denver firefighter, and mom to two kids, Finn + Lelah. Meghan also loves yoga + crochet— which makes her even more skillful in the spa!
